THESE WONDERFUL WORDS COME FROM THE PEN OF NICK DRAKE.
He died at the tender age of 26 in 1974 and his grave has become a
meeting place for all the fans who love his music. His life was sad, he
was a depressive who lived a life of sadness and remorse, yet what he
had to feel remorseful like I don't know. These words about Nick were written by Frank Kornelussen who contributed to the booklet inside "The Time of No Reply"
He was the mystic of Riverman and the doubter of Hazy Jane II. He was the beggar of Place to Be and the outcast of Clothes of Sand. He was the dreamer of Northeren Sky and the nihilist of Parasite. He was the stranger in Chimes of the City Clock and the searcher of Cello Song. He was the lover in Hazy Jane I and the jilted in Which Will. He was the comedy of Poor Boy and the tragedy of Fly. He was the life From the Morning, the doom of Black Eyed Dog. He was the Voice From the Mountain and the cry of Pink Moon.

This music comes from the wonderful voice of Loreena McKennitt, she is Canadian/Irish and has a voice like the angels of every denomination that lives. This video playlist accompanies the story/poem by ALFRED NOYES, it is called the HIGHWAYMAN and it is brilliant. She has a few friends with her, Enya, half the cast of Lord of the Rings, and of course Miss McKennitt and the LADY OF SHALLOTT, this time a poem sang by her and written by the pen of ALFRED LORD TENNYSON" another of Britains revered poets, Poet Laureate indeed.

Have you been to see this film, have you got it on DVD, If you haven't get to the video shop and buy it straight away. Not quite this version though. The one you want in the Korean/Chinese mix. It is fabulous but like all good films, no downloads please. There is a short, sad film on the Korean playlist above and the guy who plays the photographer and gives his eyes away, is the star of the released Bichunmoo, strange really that we can't embed it, because it's quite a few years old now. Never mind. I guess by now, from my playlist that you can tell I rather love the Asian films. I do, but not any that are dubbed. Can't stand them, and they are usually crap ones anyway. I have a phenominal collection now, so if you want to know any good ones.
